Vaulted strawbale building with bamboo false work


	Strawbales are non-toxic agricultural by-products that can be used as load bearing, highly insulative building blocks.


		Using structural “ribs” of bamboo, strawbales are erected in a geometric vault maintaing the insulative qualities of this alternative building block all the way through the ceiling. This building at PINC requires almost no wood because of this beautiful self supporting geometry.
