Cob Oven

Cob is an amazingly sculptural building material made from a mixture of clay, sand and straw.    The heat sinking qualities of this predominantly on-site material offer a wonderful medium for both ovens and buildings.

This fire breathing dragon oven at PINC heats hot water that is thermosyphoned through radiant heating coils in the adjoining building while baking bread, pizza, etc.
